Berean Bible Quiz (BBQ) 2020

General Rules:

  • All questions used in this year’s quiz this year will be drawn from the Book of Daniel.
  • Teams should familiarise themselves with the general rules of the competition and make queries of the co-coordinators of the quiz and/or the National Youth Board and/or officers.

Entry Requirements 2020:

  1.  All Teams must be from a local Berean Church (Jamaica), with only one (1) team per church.
  2.  Teams interested in participating are required to complete the entry form including adding the signature of each team member.
  3. Entries are expected by MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2020 with a registration fee of $2500. 
  4. Late entries will attract a penalty fee of $500, resulting in a total payment of $3000. (Final cut-off date shall be announced)
  5. Quizzers must be at least 13 years old and should not have reached 31 years of age before November 1, 2020.
  6. Quizzers may be allowed from other Berean Churches in the zone but they must compete under only one Berean Church name.

Camp Rules

Campers are not allowed in the kitchen unless on kitchen duty. Campers may only leave the campsite with the permission of the commandant. Meals will not be reserved or put aside, please be on time for all meals. All campers must conduct themselves according to Christian principles. All campers should be dressed modestly at all times. No shorts, short skirts (no more than one (1) inch above the knees), spaghetti strap blouses, or vests are allowed in the dining area or the chapel. The camp rules and those in authority should be obeyed at all times. All misconduct will be dealt with promptly and may result in the offending camper being sent home before the end of camp.
